About the Ship
Icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot is the very first luxury hybrid electric polar exploration ship and is able to navigate into the depths of the icy polar regions, where very few other ships dare go. With a capacity of 245 passengers, this one-of-a-kind vessel has 123 staterooms and suites.
Beyond its ice capability and luxury accommodations, Le Commandant Charcot has an uninterrupted promenade deck, a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, panoramic observation spaces, a fire pit and wellness room.
Specialising in itineraries which require icebreaking capability, Le Commandant Charcot is the vessel of choice for deep Weddell Sea, Geographic North Pole and other high latitude destinations.
