About the Ship
With a capacity of 136 passengers, the design of Discoverer combines bold exploration with relaxed comfort and elegance. She was purpose-built for expedition travel in 1989 and includes panoramic views, hands-on workshops and welcoming spaces perfect for relaxation after a day on shore and in the Zodiacs.
Guests on Discoverer are able to take part in one of the industry’s most robust science programs, contributing to research in fields of marine biology, glaciology and ornithology.
